SOFAS & STUFF — UNCOMMON THREADS CAMPAIGN
STRATEGY · CONCEPT · DIGITAL · SOCIAL · PRINT · OOH
Weaving individuality into Christmas.
At Christmas, most people are too overwhelmed to even think about buying a sofa. So instead of leading with product, Uncommon Threads positioned Sofas & Stuff through the people, rituals and lived-in spaces that make a house feel personal.
The campaign centred on three cultural tastemakers, Skye McAlpine, Jeremy & Cath Brown (Feldspar) and Natasha Landers, each chosen for their distinct approach to home and self-expression. From layered romanticism to material-led restraint and bold, eclectic interiors, their worlds became a way to explore individuality through the lens of home.
The art direction prioritised warmth, honesty and tactile detail, using real homes, natural light and cinematic compositions to create a timeless visual language that could live beyond Christmas. Spanning social, print, OOH and digital, the record-breaking campaign delivered a 122% increase in views year on year and a 26% uplift in fabric sample orders, confirming Sofas & Stuff’s transformation from luxury furniture brand to cultural institution.
“Another demonstration on why you’re the perfect creative partner. Thank you for all your support and hard work. The campaign is wonderful and is performing brilliantly. ”
